I love EBay sooooo much.  I’m a keen internet shopper. Mostly because I loved getting parcels in the mail and opening them and feeling important. I order so much crap it’s always a surprise what crap I get to open today!

I can get a little ‘Hong Kong Happy.’ Everything is <3.99. So I just click and click and click and before you know it $100 gone, poof!. I’m trying to help their economy; yes that’s what I’m trying to do. I will boost developing countries so Australia decreases retail and or manufacturing jobs (did I do a Business Degree? Think I mighta).

I buy lots; clothes, jewelry, eyelashes and get sucked into buying 'gadgets'. One gadget I recently purchased ($1.79) was a key ring. Not just any old key ring one that has a LED laser light! Not just any old red laser light! One that projects the time! And none of that 24hr stuff.  Just good old fashioned digital 12hr time (none of those valuable seconds lost working out the equivalent 12 hr time). How great! So when its dark and your watch is unreadable, how handy to have a laser light, time reader, key ring. However the issue is it seems to read random times. So I set it… 7.10 and I check it an hour later and it’s like 3.02. So I leave it for five hours and check the time again, 12.11. So I guess it’s pointless. But… I’m not ready to admit defeat. I have turned (what might be seen in some people’s eyes as a disappointment) into a super fun game! So ill explain the rules;

1. Guess the time
2. Click the button
3. See if guessed time and laser time are the same

There is yet to be a winner…I fear it may be a ‘Random John’ scenario with many fails but the day one of us win, will go down in history. Fingers crossed the battery holds out because I’m not getting another. Current score stands at;          

Laser, Time, Key Ring: 15             Metelmann: 0

Another item Hong Kong got me with is an eye lash applicator. Yes, I can apply my own lashes fine and don’t need an applicator but I did any way. Its plastic stick thing. Useless, utterly useless and I honestly didn’t need one but I was just so in the zone I couldn’t help it. I suggest no one to spend $0.70 on this item.

There are more items I bought. Like the alarm clock cat. Before you poo, poo this I would like it known it’s not one of those crazy, metallic, hand waving cats. This is a classy, white plastic cat. What really sold it for me were the amazing features! So get this, when you pull its tail the time comes up in a blue light and it tells you the time! OMGAHH! It tells you the time. You don’t even have to look you can just feel and pull and BAM time known. I haven’t received it yet – so I hope it tells me the time in English or I’m going to have to learn some Hong Kongian. I have another hope… I hope that the kitty cat’s time is more reliable than the old, laser, time key ring.

On another note...The people in Hong Kong are so nice. I like the MicrosodtWord print out (with clip art pictures from windows 96) about the product and asking us to send good feedback. Okay so they aren't entirely fluent but they are trying. I guess my Hong Kongian could use some work too. I couldn't say you’re welcome in Chinese (or Hong Kongian) until I typed it into Google translate.

I did feel pretty horrible one time. I gave bad feedback. The problem was my car phone charger didn’t work. I left 1 star for product description and in my ‘why’ section I wrote, ‘didn’t make contact with buyer but one of the products didn’t work.’ As soon as it sent I felt bad but I reassured myself it didn't work. Turns out it did and it was in fact my phone was cracking the sads. So I went back to the same store and bought $40 of crap I didn’t want...
